In order to perform the inspection, the utilities must be on. The utilities include electricity, water and gas (if applicable). If you have spoken with another inspector and they stated, “Its OK to inspect a house without utilities,” you need to give me a call today. When the utilities are not on, the inspector can not inspect all systems and therefore you are not getting what you paid for, a thorough inspection.
